Before embarking on her yoga journey, Amy was going through the motions of life with her Corporate America job. While she saw many of her colleagues and friends thriving in this environment, something always told her this was not her path.
It wasn’t until Amy left the incomparable New York City and moved to Orange County when she tried yoga for the first time at a local gym. She thought yoga was the ‘thing to do’ in California, so she tried it, and immediately fell in love. After her first class, something kept telling her to come back to her mat, so she continued her yoga journey, unbeknownst to her that her life was transforming in front of her eyes.
After years of dedication to her practice, Amy completed her 200-hr teaching training at YogaWorks Orange County.
Amy immediately started teaching after her training was over, and fell even more in love with the gift of yoga, finding her true calling in life. It wasn’t until September 2012 when she officially decided to quit her job and pursue her passion.
Currently, Amy teaches throughout Orange County in studios, gyms and Corporate offices. Amy brings a warm and inviting atmosphere to her classes, encouraging beginners and advanced students to move with intention, mindfulness and awareness, in hopes that we bring intention, mindfulness and awareness off our mat and into our everyday lives.
Amy is forever a student and eternally grateful for the beautiful gift of yoga.
